Clinical Medicine (Chinese Medium)
Length of Schooling: Five years (1st-4th year: academic study; 5th year: internship)
Please read the following procedures carefully and prepare the materials as required. Inaccurate or incomplete materials submission may affect your application.
1. Eligibility
(1) Physically and mentally healthy, no criminal record, 18-25 years old foreign nationals. For exceptional applicants, the age limit can be relaxed to 30;
(2) In possession of a high school degree or above, an excellent academic performance, and a basic knowledge of Chinese;
(3) Highly proficient in Chinese. Applicants are required to provide HSK 4 or preparatory course completion certificate;
(4) Having a good knowledge of basic science. High school graduates are required to provide an official transcript of either high school or national university entrance examination.
2. Application & Admission Process
(1) Fill in the application form and submit the application documents in CTGU Online Application System for International Students. Web link: http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn;
(2) The admission office will make a preliminary examination of the applicant's materials. Those documents of the applicants who have passed the preliminary examination shall be sent to College of Basic Medical Sciences for academic review;
(3) The college will organize an online interview (including comprehensive quality test and Chinese test) for the qualified applicants;
(4) Admission of applicants will be on a high to low basis, in combination with their results of entrance examination and interview. The college will submit the proposed admission list to the admission office;
(5) The admission office will send the electronic materials of the applicants who have passed the college academic review to the Department of Education of Hubei Province for a comprehensive review;
(6) The admission office will send the hard copies of the materials of the applicants who have passed the comprehensive review to the Department of Education of Hubei Province and Hubei Foreign Affairs Office for the seals;
(7) The admission office will inform and send the Admission Notice and Visa Application for Study in China (JW202) to the applicants.
3. Application Documents
Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translation.
(1) Application Form for Foreign Students to CTGU with the applicant’s signature;
(2) Passport (the scanned copy of the photo page). If you had education or work experience in China, Residence Permit and Visa page should be uploaded;
(3) Highest Diploma (the scanned copy). A temporary certificate or a provisional certificate is not accepted;
(4) Academic Transcript of high school or highest study (the scanned copy);
(5) Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date;
(6) Physical Examination Form;

(8) Non-criminal Report from the local police station;
(9) Other documents upon request: if you have participated in any activity or won any prize, you can upload the relevant certificates here because they will make your application more competitive.

4. Fee Charged Criteria
(1) Tuition Fee: 20,000 RMB / year
(2) Registration Fee (for freshmen only): 400 RMB / year
(3) Insurance Fee: 800 RMB / year
(4) Accommodation Fee: 4,800 RMB / year / bed
