袁成福，博士，教授（三级），三峡学者（第一层次），博士/硕士生导师。国家自然科学基金通讯评审专家，湖北省科技奖励评审专家，教育部学位中心学位论文评审专家；美国AACR协会会员、中国中西医结合学会实验医学委员会及基础理论委员会委员、湖北省生物化学与分子生物学学会理事。担任Seminars in Cancer Biology、ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces、Food and function、Carbohydrate Polymers、Natural Product Research、Genes & Diseases等30余种国际期刊审稿专家。2023年入选全球前2%顶尖科学家“年度科学影响力排行榜”榜单。

2010年至2014年于美国University of Minnesota等大学进行医学分子生物学博士后研究；2017年8月至2018年8月于美国TheUniversity of Chicago访问学习。以项目负责人主持六项国家自然科学基金课题；另外主持湖北省自然科学基金创新群体项目及中央引导地方科技发展专项基金各一项；以第一完成人获省部级科技奖励二等奖三项；在Cancer Research、J Biol Chem、RNA Biol等国内外杂志发表研究论文180余篇（其中SCI收录120余篇），相关论文多次被国际他引；授权发明专利5项。

主要研究方向：

1.代谢性疾病（如肥胖、糖尿病、NAFLD等）发病机制及药物防治；

2.恶性肿瘤相关新基因的挖掘、筛选、功能解析及其临床应用评价研究。
